At Rehab Specialists we understand that you could be a little nervous about your first physical therapy appointment, but our staff and therapy team are happy to help you begin your path to recovery and answer any clinical, insurance, scheduling, or billing issues with you.

What will the first appointment be like?

Your first visit will last approximately an hour and will include a comprehensive evaluation and applicable treatment administered by a Rehab Specialsits therapist. Your PT will review your medical history, diagnostic tests, your pre-morbid level of function, mechanism of injury and any recent events that may have contributed to your present condition. Our therapists uses evidence based differential diagnosis skills to reach a rehab diagnosis and will choose the best interventions available.

We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time in order to complete all necessary paperwork.
